HBS18513 MIX & MATCH WITH ME – LEVEL 1

This progressive set of games has three levels of difficulty developed to teach:

  • Shape
  • Colour
  • Sequencing
  • Visual perception
  • Differences and similarities
  • Spatial positions
  • Foreground / Background

The teaching of all these skills is essential for school readiness as they form the foundation of early reading and mathematics.

Once level 1 has been mastered the child can progress to level 2 and then level 3.

If the child is struggling, go back to the previous level and then progress accordingly.

Black and white or monochrome stimulates the mathematical and cognitive side of the brain.

Colour encourages use of the creative and language side of the brain.

This game therefore stimulates both left and right brain function.

Use this game to enhance teaching all the spatial concepts e.g. left, right, top, bottom, up,

down, on top, underneath, next to, between, upside down, middle, rows, columns, first second last etc.
