HBS18560 FUN WITH BONDS

This game can be played in different levels of challenge. Begin with teaching the bonds of 5.

Take 5 counters. Shake counters and throw them on the table. Each time you throw the counters

Different bonds come up e.g. 1 yellow and 4 red counters

2 yellow and 3 red counters

3 yellow and 2 red counters

4 yellow and 1 red counters

5 yellow and 0 red counters

5 red and 0 yellow counters

Mark the different bonds on the re-useable board using white board markers. Use more counters as the child masters each level.

This  game develops:

• Fine motor skills
• Hand – eye co-ordination.
• Early mathematical skills
